“Wool has always been a central part of our material range – as it has perfect features and is a natural and renewable material. In our home market Norway wool has always been the self-evident choice for generations.
Nowadays we use more and more recycled wool and would like to show some product examples. Using recycled wool reduces the footprint of a product enormously, as for example all greenhouse gas emissions during farming are already “priced in” if the wool is being used once again. Last year we conducted a study comparing the footprint of virgin and recycled materials and the result was a massive reduction in natural costs by using recycled wool. This way we can use these natural resources much more efficiently.”
